Writing coaching and developmental editing:

• Help individuals develop and complete writing projects, small and large, by discussing ideas, setting deadlines, and reviewing and editing content.

Academic editing:

• Edit academic and scholarly articles, dissertations, book proposals, lectures, and other texts. I can work with scholars and specialists of almost any field, but particular areas of interest are anthropology/sociology, art history, communications, education, environmental studies, Latino studies, literature, and philosophy.

Copyediting and proofreading:

• Light to heavy copyediting and proofreading for all kinds of written content, including trade and reference books, articles, lectures, brochures, websites, course catalogs, annual reports, etc.

Note: I happily work with people for whom English is a second language. I speak, read, write, and translate Spanish and have worked extensively with native Spanish-speakers.
